Trestle Group Foundation’s Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Partnership Program fills an important gap by supporting companies that have survived the start-up stage and are currently in the critical growth or expansion stage of business. These women entrepreneurs have already overcome significant challenges to reach this level of business success. With the right support - business strategies, management practices and systems - these small and medium sized enterprises encourage private ownership, generate employment and provide critical economic stimulus. In developing economies, women-led SME’s are vital contributors to economic growth and play a crucial role in poverty reduction through job creation.
By participating in the Partnership Program, female executives have an opportunity to collaborate, give back, share their experiences and directly support women-led companies in emerging economies. In addition, the program provides challenging opportunities for business women to support their own skills development through the Empowerment (Coaching) Model. It is truly a win-win initiative.
